North Delta Pirates with Tough Game Against Richmond Chuckers
NORTH DELTA, BC — April 7, 2024
The North Delta Pirates had trouble keeping up with the Richmond Chuckers in an 11-1 loss Sunday.

A walk by Luke Murdock put the Richmond Chuckers on the board in the top of the first.
Noah Grant singled, which helped the North Delta Pirates tie the game at one in the bottom of the second.
In the top of the third inning, Richmond went back into the lead after Murdock singled, Jerome St. Louis doubled, the North Delta Pirates dropped a third strike, Pierce Lambert singled, and Luca Aubin singled, each scoring one run. They never looked back.
N. Grant took the loss for the North Delta Pirates. The right-handed pitcher went three innings, surrendering six runs (four earned) on seven hits, striking out four and walking three.
St. Louis earned the win for Richmond. The starting pitcher gave up seven hits and one run over five innings, striking out four and walking one.
Brendan Grant, Jared Goumans, Riku Sakuta, Tyler Conway, Ryo Ikeda, N. Grant, and Payton Harper each collected one hit for the North Delta Pirates.
N. Grant went 1-for-2 at the plate as they led the team with one run batted in.
The Richmond Chuckers collected 12 hits in the game.
St. Louis, Liam Stevenson, Murdock, and Aubin each collected two hits for Richmond.
St. Louis led Richmond with two runs batted in. The right-handed hitter went 2-for-3 on the day.
