North Delta Pirates Come Up Short Against Aldergrove BlueSox
The North Delta Pirates fell to the Aldergrove BlueSox 5-2 on Saturday.

Aldergrove opened the scoring in the second after Declan Foufoulas doubled, scoring one run.
The North Delta Pirates battled back and took the lead in the bottom of the third inning after Sammy Wong doubled, and Noah Saunders singled, each scoring one run to lead 2-1.
The sea-saw battled continued in the top of the seventh when Aldergrove re-captured the lead, 5-2, when Carson Burns doubled, and Damon Bernemann singled, each scoring two runs. And that’s how the game ended.
Mason Mandzuk earned the win for Aldergrove. The right-handed pitcher surrendered five hits and two runs over three innings, striking out three and walking five.
Ryo Ikeda took the loss for North Delta. They went six and one-third innings, surrendering five runs on twelve hits, striking out seven and walking three.
Burns earned the save for Aldergrove.
Tyler Bernabe and Payton Harper each collected two hits for the North Delta Pirates.
Wong led the North Delta Pirates with one RBI, going 1-for-3 on the day.
Ikeda stole three bases.
Aldergrove piled up 12 hits in the game. Dexter Beyers, Burns, Jackson Rempel, Roufoulas, and Brendan Rohrer each collected two hits.
Burns led Aldergrove with two runs batted in. The right-handed hitter went 2-for-2 on the day.
