North Delta Pirates Unveil 2024 Roster

North Delta Pirates Unveil Roster and Launch Official Website for Inaugural 2024 Spring/Summer Season

NORTH DELTA, BC — March 15, 2024

The North Delta Pirates, an 18U AAA BC Minor Baseball team based out of North Delta, is thrilled to announce the release of their upcoming roster for the 2024 single season. Led by a skilled coaching staff and a diverse group of players, the Pirates are poised to make waves in their inaugural year.

The excitement kicks off on the weekend of April 6/7 as the North Delta Pirates debut with their home opener at Mackie Park. The action-packed weekend commences with a face-off against rival Richmond City Chuckers on April 6th at noon, marking the beginning of what will surely be a thrilling season that runs until July 18th. The schedule includes 40 league games, with 20 matchups set to take place at Mackie Park and 20 on the road against teams from across the Lower Mainland of Vancouver, the Fraser Valley, Vancouver Island, the Okanagan, and Prince George.

"We are thrilled to introduce our talented roster for the upcoming season," said Paul Goumans, Team Manager and Head Coach of the North Delta Pirates. "Our players have been working hard to prepare for this moment, and they are eager to showcase their skills on the field."

In their inaugural year, the North Delta Pirates are expected to be a formidable force with a strong emphasis on pitching and fielding. The team comprises seven senior players, two junior players, and seven rookie players, each bringing their own unique talents to the lineup.

"We have assembled a well-rounded team with a mix of experience and youth," said Jeff Stebbings, Head Coach of the North Delta Pirates. "Our coaching staff is committed to helping our players reach their full potential and achieve success on and off the field."

The website serves as a hub for fans and supporters, offering a comprehensive look at the team, including player profiles, coach bios, news updates, schedules, league standings and game recaps. Additionally, fans can stay connected with the team through social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter (X).
