  • Hunter Clements stepped on the mound first for Penticton. They went the full game, allowing six hits and one run over seven innings, striking out nine and walking none.

  • Tyler Bernabe set the tone at the top of the lineup, leading the North Delta Pirates with two hits in three at bats.

  • Saunders went 1-for-1 at the plate as the right-handed hitter led the team with its only RBI.

  • Jared Goumans was named the game MVP for the North Delta Pirates.

  • Moore provided pop in the middle of the lineup, leading Penticton with three runs batted in. The clean-up hitter went 2-for-4 on the day.

  • Kaden Collins paced Penticton with two walks and Penticton didn’t commit an error in the field. North Delta had three.

  • Despite the appearance of a lop-sided loss in their first game, there is lots of life left in the North Delta Pirates. With two games still left in the round robin against Vancouver (Friday) and Aldergrove (Saturday), the Pirate squad still controls their own destiny. Win both of those games and they will almost assuredly qualify to compete in a semi-final game on Sunday. Lose, and the hill to climb becomes steeper.
